Rafael (Alita) Arciniegas y Angueyra (2), the son of Josefa Aurora Angueyra and Rafael Arciniegas, was born on  July 17, 1907, in Bogotá.  He married Emilia Price y Gutierrez who was born on March 31, 1909, in Tunja.  They had seven children, Clara, Emilia, Leonor, Isabel, Rafael, Jorge, and German Arciniegas.  Alita died in 1978.
