Armando Frederick Ayala and Emma Neal Gardner

Armando Frederick Ayala was born on December 24, 1886,⁷ in Key West, FL. ^?  In November 1910,⁷ in Key West,⁷ he married Emma Neal Gardner, who was born on August 23, 1888, ^? also in Key West.⁷  She was the daughter of Whitmore Johnson Gardner and Sarah Elizabeth Thompson.⁷  Emma was previously married to Henry Sands,⁷ with whom she had a daughter, Marjorie.⁷  Armando and Emma Neal had two daughters, Sarah ⁷ and Emma. ^?  They moved to Tampa before 1916,⁷ where Armando worked for the Tampa Electric Company until 1926,⁷ when he was transferred back to Key West,⁷ and worked for the Key West Electric Company.⁷

Armando developed heart trouble and died in Key West ⁷ on March 19, 1939.⁷  Emma died, also in Key West, ⁷ on August 29, 1966,⁷ and they are buried in the Key West Cemetery, in a plot directly across from his parents.³,⁷
