Gabriel Felix Ayala y Figueredo and Sarah Jenkins Mackay

Gabriel Felix Ayala y Figueredo was born on February 21, 1881,² in Key West,² and married Sarah Jenkins Mackay ² in 1909,² in Tampa.²  They had three children, Robert, ^? Wilson DeHart, ^? and Peggy Ayala. ^?  Gabriel died of enteritis ^? and is buried in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, in Tampa.³

iii                Margaret Adele (Peggy) Ayala was born on April 7, 1918,² and she married John Paxton,⁶ who was born on November 29, 1917. ^?  He was a colonel in the US army.⁶  They lived in Washington, DC ⁶ until John died, on April 21, 1972,⁸ when Peggy moved first to Tampa, FL ⁶ and then to San Antonio, TX.⁶  Peggy died in 2000,⁶ in Texas, ^? and her ashes were interred at Arlington National Cemetery, with those of her husband.⁶  They had no children.
