Gonzalo Gomez y Angueyra and Ana Regina Duran

Gonzalo Gomez y Angueyra was born in Pacho, Colombia on January 16, 1921.  On December 15, 1944, in Barranquilla, Colombia, he married Ana Regina Duran.  Ana was born on July 14, 1921, in Cienega, near Barranquilla, Colombia and they had nine children, Gonzalo, Graciela, Ricardo, Ana Marķa, Beatriz, Alfredo, Carmen, Carlos, and Miriam Gomez.  In 1956, Gonzalo came to the US to be followed on August 5, 1957, by Ana and the nine children.  In 1971, Gonzalo and Ana divorced and Gonzalo married Clara Vasquez y Chaves in Miami, FL.  Clara was born on April 9, 1923.  Gonzalo died in Inverness, FL in August, 1983.

iii   Ricardo Jose Gomez y Duran was born in Barranquilla, on March 23, 1948, and came to the US on August 5, 1957.   Ricardo died in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam on June 10, 1969.  His name appears on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, on panel 22W in row 12.

v   Beatriz Eugenia Gomez y Duran was born on March 3, 1951, in Barranquilla, and came to the US on August 5, 1957.  She died on August 11, 1965, in Miami, FL.
     
vi   Alfredo Melchor (Cuchi) Gomez y Duran was born on January 5, 1952, in Barranquilla, and came to the US on August 5, 1957.  Alfredo died in an automobile accident on April 17, 1970, in Miami.
