Laura Mae Ayala was born on September 26, 1911,³ in Key West, FL.³  She married Sylvenus Elsworth (Beanie) Smith ³,⁷ who was born in about 1906,⁷ and was a Navy intelligence officer in WWII. ^?  They had two children, Ronald ³ and Frances Smith.³  Laura died on November 13, 1988,³ in Gainesville, FL ³ and was buried on November 16,³ in Forest Meadows Memorial Park, in Gainesville.³
